Steven Johnson

Steven started his career with animals over 29 years ago in a local museum in college. He was the sole caretaker of the LSUS’s herpetology live exhibit, reptile, and amphibian wet specimen collection. Since then, he has pursued his passion in multiple animal related fields. This has included genetic breeding in laboratories where he achieved his LAHT II certification. He also achieved his CVA certification while working at multiple clinics, specializing in exotics and animal dentistry. His passion is still strong today with his continuation of learning and is currently in the process of earning his LVT/RVT during his off time and due to graduate in late 2024 to early 2025.
